I did the same thing Gary. In fact, I need to regularly remind myself to keep it up, or it begins to look I’m the “shoemaker’s children”.

One other tip, when you sign your name on a blog post like this be sure to include a link to your LinkedIn profile. That way folks can click it and go see who you are. It both validates your comments and gives an opportunity for you to “extend” your brand.

Thanks for the reminder to review our performance achievements and our brand image at least annually and then update the information.

It surprises me how fast time passes and how easy it is to forget recording achievements or updating our personal brand and images on sites as LinkedIn.

Regarding branding, I went back to my LinkedIn site and realized I was in serious need of updating my profile. I added new information and completed some areas of the profile I never got around to filling in earlier.
