Instead, the student should be confident in their preparations and should not bear an extreme pressure of exams on their minds. How to Score Good Marks in Exams
- Be Regular in School or College
Discipline is a must in a student’s life and if you want a good performance then you should be regular in your school classes and college lectures. Teachers try to give detailed knowledge of concepts in a classroom. And if you have a Habit of missing your lectures then it’s time to change your habit because you are doing your own loss by this. Students who miss the schools later form it a habit and keep giving excuses.

Whenever a class test or something approaches they will try to miss the school. As a parent, you should ensure that your child goes to school daily. Being a regular student in class keeps us updated and solves half the problem. If you make a group of random students and ask their marks you will notice that the students who are regular in class scores more ( most of the times)

Teachers also tell important questions in the class that has been asked a maximum number of times and have a chance of being asked again and again.

- Make Proper Notes
Making Notes is very important in a class. You may not remember all the things being taught in the class. It is better that you keep noting down all the things, points, and concepts which are discussed in the class. Notes help a lot in exams. In examinations, time is generally less and we don’t have much time to read the full chapters from textbooks. Notes come to your rescue. You should read your notes properly as it has all the main points from various chapters from the book.

- Don’t Forget to Revise the Lessons covered in School or College
Revision is Must! You may do well in your class and may understand all the concepts but if you don’t revise your chapters then there are chances that you may forget the important points. Make a habit of revising all the chapters which are discussed in a class. Revision helps the mind to recall the concepts and when you revise it properly it is saved in your permanent memory. Revision reduces the overburden of exams and reduces the exam stress. Those who revise much before the exams can be seen much relaxed as compared to those who prepare at the last moment.
- Avoid Last day Studies
Exams are being conducted to test the learning capacity and how well the students have grasped it. Exams become a burden when you don’t prepare when you should. Leaving everything for the last day is not a good thing. Last day, the mind may get confused because you may try to revise all the chapters in a single day. It will also increase the nervousness of students. Instead, you should keep revising the chapters when they are being taught in the school or college. A day before the exam you should do just a final touch up. Solve sample papers and previous year exams.
6. Solve Last Year Papers
Solving last year’s papers is one of the best habits as it will help you in recalling all the concepts. It will give you the much-needed confidence before sitting in the exams. U Like Sample papers are enough for preparation. When you feel that you have revised all the chapters, start doing 1 or 2 sample papers every day. For Maths, write down all the formulas on a paper and keep learning them whenever you are sitting idle or travelling in a metro or a bus.
7. Practice by Writing
Practicing by writing makes the concepts a permanent part of your memory. When you write something you learn it better. So, make a habit of writing down when you prepare your lessons. You can also note down all the important points of the lessons.
How to Prepare Your Body for Exams
Preparing your body is equally important. You should take the right diet if you want to remain active during your exam days.
1. Eating Right is Important
Make sure you take the right diet during your exam days. Staying hungry is not a good idea. Eat good energy-giving foods. Add fruits and protein to your diet. Do not eat foods containing too much fats and oil. It will make you lazy. Don’t eat a heavy diet before sitting in your exam. Take a light diet so that you do not feel sleepy or tired during your exam.
2. Drink Juice
Juice will give you the required energy. Keep drinking fruit juice during your exam days. You can take orange juice or lemonade. Natural juice will be a better choice as compared to packed juices.
3. Sleep properly
Take care of your sleep. Don’t be sleep deprived because of exams. Sleep early and wake up early. Don’t wake up till late at night, a day before the exam. Your brain needs a good sleep to recall concepts you have learnt.
4. Drink Enough Water
Drink enough water to keep yourself hydrated. Carry a bottle of water while you sit for writing the exam. Keep drinking water so that you stay active and hydrated.
5. Add Coffee to your diet
Coffee can help you in keeping your brain active. Take a cup of coffee if you feel lazy or sleepy. This will keep you awake for a longer time and will help you revise some more chapters. But don’t get addicted to coffee in normal days.
