III Life Skills
1. Imagine yourself to be the teacher directing the play ‘ The Story of Rama’.How will you tackle the situation knowing that Alka wouldn’t be able to perform in the play?
If I was there in the place of the teacher I would have requested about half an hour time from the authorities if possible. If we could not get extra time I would ask Rupa to speak all her dialogues once in front of me before reaching the stage.
When the play starts, I would have stood near to Rupa backstage and if she mumbled or forgets her dialogue I would have spoken her lines in a low tone so that only she could hear. This would have helped her to enact better.
