So, this is the marking scheme of CBSE Class 9th Maths Exam. you have to prepare accordingly and have to give equal importance to all the topics. Maths has been and will always be an important subject of any class and this is a subject you need in most of the streams after class 10th. You will need to learn Maths for both Commerce and Science streams.

In the class 9th Maths Syllabus most of the students don’t pay much attention to some of the topics thinking that they will cover them later on. Like some of the students find Geometry very boring. But Geometry section is equally important. You should understand the basics of Geometry very well. Geometry section alone carries a weightage of 28 Marks and if you do not score well in Geometry section then it can badly affect your overall Maths Exam Score. You should draw all the diagrams while answering Geometry questions and should take care of all the angles. All the statements and theorems used in the answer should be mentioned in brackets. Then we come to the Mensuration part of Maths Exam. For the mensuration part, you must learn all the formulas on tips. You should mug up the formulas of volumes and areas of figures. You should not get confused between the Curved surface areas and total surface areas of various figures like Cube, cuboid, cylinder, cone etc If you find it difficult to remember the formulas and forget them again and again, you can write them on a paper and try to recall them whenever you get free time, while travelling and so and by this way these formulas will permanently be stored in your memory. You should pay proper attention while calculating and should avoid mistakes.

Next, we come to the algebra part. You should learn the Factor and Remainder theorem of Polynomials properly. All the identities should be on your tips. Practice as many questions as you can on remainder and Factor Theorems. For statistics and Probability, you should understand the Mean, median and mode concept properly and you should practice all the questions on Graph papers. For probability, NCERT Maths book back questions are enough. Number system should also not be ignored.

After all the lessons are covered in School and tuition you should start doing examples and all the back questions of the Class 9th Maths NCERT book. Examples will give you the complete idea of questions. When you have covered all the book questions then you must start doing U-Like Sample Papers. Try to do 1 sample paper per day before one or 2 months of the CBSE Class 9th Maths Final Exam. Keep recalling formulas and theorems you wrote on a paper. If you do even this much preparation you will definitely excel in the exams.
